Individual progress and growth come through a process of unlearning, learning and re-learning. This is a continuous cycle and is known as the Competency Ladder Model.
Broadly speaking, a learner goes through 4 prominent stages of learning.
Unconscioulsy Unskilled Learner
The 'Unconscioulsy Unskilled' learner, is the initial stage of learning. At this stage learners are unaware of their existing 'knowledge gap' simply because they never had the opportunity to apply and use the learning.
At this stage we help students idenitfy their (learning) gaps such that they may undertake / initiate corrective measures to bridge the gaps.
Conscious Incompetent Learner
Next, as the 'Conscious Incompetent' learner, one has identified his / her shortcomings and is taking the required steps to pick up new skills / competencies.
This is also known as the learning phase.
Conscious Competency Learner
The third stage is that of 'Conscious Competency', where the learner has picked up the required skills but needs more practice to be able to implement the same with ease and confidence.
At this stage we offer students a platform to test their skills & knowledge through class presentations, assessments, quizzes, mock interviews and case studies.
Unconscious Competency Learner
Finally, we have the 'Unconscious Competency' stage where the neccasary skills have got ingrained in the learner's personality and he / she can perform tasks with ease & confidence.
Thus the final culmination of this process will be acquiring a suitable employment for the learner.
